Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live.” —Gianni Versace

We’re a group of ambitious, bold and charismatic college students from Barnard College and Columbia University in New York, NY. From neuroscience to economics to art history, we’ve all come together for one prevailing love: fashion.

Founded by Maria Sun, CC’ 18, in her junior year, the Columbia University Fashion Society (CUFS) is a pre-professional organization dedicated to expanding our members’ network in the fashion industry through informative, engaging and interactive events.

Since our launch, we’ve hosted discussions, panels and networking events with entrepreneurs who have worked with VOGUE, W Magazine, Hermes, Brooks Brothers, and more.

To each of us, fashion is more than just clothes; it intersects with photography, represents social justice, explores emerging technology, graces history, and so muchmore. Want to stay up-to-date on our events and other news?
